Meet the World Languages Tutors!

Hi, I’m Zoe! I’m a transfer Junior Animation & Visual Effects major with a Business Administration minor at Chapman University. I love watching my students gain confidence as their skills progress and aspire to make learning Spanish as fun and easy as possible. When I’m not tutoring you can catch me sketching, animating, dancing, or binge watching video essays and fail compilations on YouTube. Fun fact: At home, I have four cats, a bearded dragon, and a chinchilla.

I have been a Spanish Tutor with Moorpark College since 2019. I am graduating this Spring semester with a Spanish bachelor's degree from California State University Channel Island. I love to share my language skills with Moorpark College students because I also was a student here. Moreover, it is rewarding to work with an excellent team of Spanish professors and to help students to grow their skills to the highest potential. I am a curious, lifelong learner with a versatile teaching style that enables me to connect with a diverse student population and to guide them to a successful Spanish Tutoring experience. As a Spanish tutor, my goal is to expand students' knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and the rich biodiversity of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries in the world.
