Services Provided
Feeling tired, have a fever, sore throat, difficulty sleeping, stomach upset, concerned about alcohol or drug use? Appointments are available to see our doctor, nurses, or nurse practitioner to assess, diagnose, and treat acute and minor medical illnesses.
At a small additional cost, these immunizations/TB test are available from the SHC:
Student Accident/Injury Insurance – secondary policy coverage only for injuries that occur on campus.
Need some Tylenol, throat lozenge, or a band-aid? Then the Self-Care center, located in the health center waiting room, is for you. No appointment needed--just come help yourself! Grab some condoms while you're at it.
We provide
Well-woman exams, including PAP tests and birth control planning
Pregnancy tests
Plan B
Abstinence counseling
Sexually transmitted infection (including HIV) testing and treatment for men and women
Free condoms available in waiting room Self-Care Center
Lab work and medications are free to students meeting Family Pact requirements. Inquire at the Student Health Center.
