What is LSAMP?

Students at Moorpark College majoring in the sciences have the opportunity for additional academic support through the National Science Foundation Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (NSF LSAMP). This program strives to enhance the enrollment and success of students, particularly those from underrepresented populations in STEM fields. The objective is to support these students in completing their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degree programs and progressing to graduate studies.

What is STEM Impacto?

The STEM Impacto program seeks to increase the number of Hispanic/Latino and Pell Grant eligible students in STEM. At Moorpark College, this means helping students graduate (or transfer) and find great careers in Biotechnology, Biology, or Computer Network Systems Engineering. 
Our job is to help you succeed, whether that means landing the perfect job or getting into your dream school. 

Applying is easy

If you are a Hispanic/Latino OR Pell grant eligible student (you do not need to be both) actively pursuing a degree or certificate in Biotechnology, CNSE or Biology at Moorpark (or planning to transfer in one of these disciplines), STEM Impacto is for you!
