First Appointment

What do I Bring to My First CalWORKs Counseling Appointment?

1. Your first counseling appointment is 1 hour. Please plan accordingly including parking (daily parking permits cost $2.00 each and can be purchased at the parking permit dispensers in the parking lots.)

2. It is required that you bring a copy of your Welfare-To-Work Plan and Notice of Action (typically mailed to you from the county) in order to keep this appointment.

3. During this appointment, an individual training plan (I.T.P.) will be completed to include weekly class hours and study time.

4. I.T.P and book voucher requests will be submitted to your assigned county worker (How to print a book list).
