3. What is MyVCCCD?
MyVCCCD is the portal for all related work information and e-mail, to include rosters and college/district announcements.
4. How do I access MyVCCCD
It is on the Moorpark College website, or directly at my.vcccd.edu.
5. How do I login to MyVCCCD?
It is the same username and password as your e-mail. If you forget one or the other, fill out the form at my.vcccd.edu on the login page.
6. How do I access my e-mail?
Log into my.vcccd.edu and clock the "Outlook" icon at the top right of the page.
7. What if I still cannot login to my.vcccd.edu or my e-mail?
Call the District Help Desk at 805-652-7777 (hours).
8. How do I access and set-up voice mail?
Call IT at x1685.
9. Is there a charge for parking?
No.
10. How do I get a parking permit?

11. Where do I pick up my parking permit?
Moorpark College police station, Located east of the main gymnasium near Campus Road and the G parking lot. Phone: (805) 378-1455
12. Is there a mailbox for my mail?
It is in the Administration Building, with the following hours: Monday-Thursday 7 am - 9 pm and Friday 7 am - 5 pm. Note that the mail room will be closed whenever the campus is closed as well.

Faculty Resources Center
The Staff Resource Center is located on the lower level of the Library & Learning Resources building. During regular operational hours, faculty and staff may enter through the double-door Staff Only entrance in the rear of the building, or through the Staff Only entrance in the back of the Open Access Lab, which is reached through the building's front entrance. A code is required for the keypad on the Open Access Lab entrance, and may be obtained from each division office. After-hours access may gained by contacting Campus Police.

1. What do I do if one of my students needs emotional or physical support?
Students can be referred to the Student Health Center in the Administration Building, Room 111, for any level of needs. Student health services includes psychological counseling by a psychologist or post docs or interns under supervision among other things.

2. Who should I contact if I am unable to meet my class?
If you will be unable to meet your class for personal illness, bereavement, personal necessity or personal business, notify your Division Office as far in advance as possible. If your Division Office is closed for the evening, contact the Evening Attendant (805) 378-1406 so that they can notify your students. To reach the evening and weekend attendant, Paul Mattson, call extension x1406.
3. Who should I contact if one of my students seems to have learning problems?
Contact ACCESS (Accessibility Coordination Center & Educational Support Services) at (805) 378-1461. ACCESS is the program that assures all Moorpark College classes, activities, and facilities are accessible to all qualified students.

If you believe a student or an employee has been harassed, you should direct your concern to either of the following:

5. Where can I refer students who need help choosing a career?
The primary service for students who need help choosing a career is the Career/Transer Center in Fountain Hall, Room 110. The Career/Transfer Center provides a variety of programs and resources: Internships, how to earn college credit for current jobs, on campus job information, career pathways, and others.

6. What do I do if a student in my class is cheating?
Moorpark College takes academic honesty very seriously. Instructors have the responsibility to report instances of plagiarism or cheating to the Dean of Student Life by completing a BIT form. Academic dishonesty, in any form, is a violation of the Moorpark College Student Code of Conduct and is subject to investigation, charges of misconduct, and disciplinary consequences.

The Counseling Department offers a wide range of professional counseling services for current and prospective students.

8. Who should I contact if a student in my class is being disruptive?
Moorpark College has established a Crisis Intervention Team. The Student Health Center Coordinator leads the Team in providing crisis management across the campus when needed. The Team consists of faculty, staff, and administrators trained in crisis intervention strategies. If there is an emergency or traumatic situation, call the Student Health Center at (805)378-1413, or if the situation occurs during an evening or weekend, call the Campus Police at (805) 378-1455.

11. Does the Library provide instruction sessions for my students?
The librarians are pleased to conduct library instruction sessions for your classes. These sessions work best when they can be focused on a specific assignment. During the session, the librarian will teach appropriate research methodology, including how to use electronic resources and tips on Internet searching. Please schedule your instruction session with the reference librarian. Arrangements must be made five school days prior to
the scheduled session.

12. Are there any student clubs on campus and how do students get involved in student government?
To get involved in student government, check the Associated Students website. Associated Students provides opportunities for students to get involved on campus by hosting events and activities. They also encourage students to join and participate in student organizations.

1. How do I make photocopies?
Canon Copy Center in the Student Center for a large number of copies. For a smaller number of copies, you can use the Faculty Resource Center LLR-116. You must get the Copy Code from your Division Office .
2. Is there a computer lab for faculty?

Contact one of the Associate Librarians. Since the purpose of the library's collection is to support curriculum, recommendations are strongly encouraged.

There are two online sites that are helpful. First, there is lynda.com, which can also be found on MyVCCCD under "Employee Information" quick links.
