Raider Closet is an on-campus clothing resource for students enrolled at Moorpark College. We offer:

• Cold-weather clothing and blankets
• Interview and office attire

Limit: Up to two (2) items per semester.

• First and last name
• Student ID number

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded program designed to encourage the enrollment, retention, and the transfer of students challenged by language, social, economic (federal poverty guidelines), and educational disadvantages, and to facilitate the successful completion of their goals and objectives in college.

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) offers additional support services to EOPS students who are single parent on TANF (Transitional Assistance for Needy Families) and to break the welfare dependency cycle by completing college-level educational training programs, and therefore, become more employable and economically self-sufficient.

The Financial Aid Center works in assisting students with everything involved with Financial Aid.

Moorpark College Career Center assists students and employers with various services (i.e., career coaching, internships, workshops, and access to the Handshake platform).

Accessibility Coordination Center and Educational Support Services (ACCESS) supports students with verified disabilities by determining and providing reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids, and support services.

For a limited time, students with the Student Adventure Pass can ride Metrolink for FREE by registering on the Metrolink mobile app with their school email and carrying a valid student ID with them.

 

Though it is not free, students can also obtain discounts for Amtrak (15% discount).

Book now or schedule for later with Moorpark City Transit’s new On Demand Rideshare Service. This pilot transit program is available to everyone traveling within Moorpark for school, work, appointments, and all other local trips. It only costs $1 for a one-way trip.
