Vision resources are coming soon. In the meantime, please call your local 211 for local vision care resources. 211 is a FREE information and 24/7 referral service that connects community members to critical health and human services in their community. Referrals are available optometry services like eye screenings, eye glasses, and contact lenses.

The Fresh Start program is designed by Assistance League of Conejo Valley (ALVC) in collaboration with Moorpark College to provide students resources for employment and education such as interview attire and resources for learning (i.e., laptop or book assistance).

ALCV is transforming lives and strengthening our community through philanthropic programs. The ALCV is a nonprofit organization comprised entirely of volunteers who identify, develop, implement and fund ongoing philanthropic programs to improve the lives of children and adults in our community.

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded program designed to encourage the enrollment, retention, and the transfer of students challenged by language, social, economic (federal poverty guidelines), and educational disadvantages, and to facilitate the successful completion of their goals and objectives in college.

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) offers additional support services to EOPS students who are single parent on TANF (Transitional Assistance for Needy Families) and to break the welfare dependency cycle by completing college-level educational training programs, and therefore, become more employable and economically self-sufficient.

For a limited time, students with the Student Adventure Pass can ride Metrolink for FREE by registering on the Metrolink mobile app with their school email and carrying a valid student ID with them.

Though it is not free, students can also obtain discounts for Amtrak (15% discount).
