Moorpark College is hosting its annual Commencement celebration on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the campus's Griffin Stadium.
Students who submit a graduate petition with a Moorpark College counselor will be invited to participate in the celebrations. Invitations will be sent to the student's MyVCCCD email in spring semester 2025.
Benefits to participating:
Students will be celebrated with the pomp and circumstance they deserve! Graduates will have their official Commencement photo taken by the professional photographers at GradImages, have their name called as they cross the stage, receive their diploma cover, and have opportunities to take individual and group photos before and after the ceremony.
Timeframe:
Guests will be permitted into Griffin Stadium beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Graduates are instructed to arrive beginning at 8:30 a.m. but should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. to check in. The Commencement ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to last approximately two hours.
It is expected that graduates will remain in their seats for the duration of the ceremony; students will not be permitted to leave the ceremony early except in the instance of an emergency.
Location:

Parking:
It is recommended that graduates and guests park in the Parking Structure or one of its surrounding lots. The other closest parking areas will be the High School at Moorpark College lot (Lot-G1) and the Academic Center lot.
Accessible parking will also be made available in the FLRs/Field Hockey Stadium lot closest to the Griffin Stadium (Lot-H).
Graduates and families should not park in the surrounding neighborhoods if they do not live off the streets of Delfen, Kernvale, Overly, Dracena, Linville, Grandsen, or Melray.
